This post is also available in: 8.7.2019 at 8pm Miad is inviting you to join him on Monday July 8th, to enjoy the tastes and smells of Persian cuisine at 8 o’clock pm at KC grad. This time, our cook Miad will be preparing two types of food for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Persian vegetarian food called Mirza Ghasemi. It is an Iranian appetizer or main based on tandoori or grilled eggplant, distinct to the Northern Iran and Caspian Sea region and specially gilan province. Once you taste this dish you are going to fall in love with it, especially if you like eggplants and garlic. It’s one of my favorites but of course I love any dish that has eggplants in it. This is a vegetarian no meat casserole, a combination of tomatoes, lots of garlic, mashed grilled eggplants with salt and pepper and turmeric as the only spice. You cannot find this meal in all Iranian restaurants, it’s a homemade traditional food. Persian grill food called Joojeh Kabab. It is a classic chicken kebob recipe from Iran. Chicken pieces are smothered in a delicious saffron chicken kebob marinade and have such delicious flavor thanks to saffron and lime. This is one of the most common and popular dishes of Iran. This Persian chicken kebab is often served on basmati rice or wrapped in lavash bread with salat or yogurt. Our cook: Miad Nakhavali I’m Miad from Iran, currently living and studying in Belgrade.
